Ciarra K. Walters (b. 1992) is an interdisciplinary artist in Maryland. Her work explores the body as a space of agency, self-discovery, and connection to the environment. She holds an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Photography + Media & Society.
In 2020, she launched An Artletter, a newsletter that extends her art practice through critical and creative reflections on contemporary art, with a spotlight on women and artists of color. Rooted in accessibility and care, her writing invites readers into thoughtful, grounded conversations about art and its role in how we see, feel, and move through the world.
